Reduce, Re-use, Recycle

Tuesday at my home is recycling day. So I figured what a great theme to make for my Tuesday’s Blogs! - To look through some of my old writings and recycle them.

Above is a picture of some of the notebooks I've gone through over the years. Some of my friends and acquaintances find it odd that I always carry a notebook with me, But Inspiration can strike at anytime! And now I have the privilege of looking through the man I once was, helping to shape the man I’m aiming to be.

I’m always encouraging friends to write, and will do so again now! Get a notebook of any sort and just write. I started eight years ago, hardly being able to formulate my day... And now ceaselessly writing poetry and philosophy, my dreams of the night and my aspiration of the day.

It may be a slow process, but I promise if you get a notebook and a pen and place it beside your bed, you will be forever changed.

And so, keeping with Tuesday's theme, a recycled entry of mine from a couple years ago:

”Where is karma?” The boy inquired. The question, posed in such a way caused the elder to withdraw into thought:

Where could it be? Floating above... the clouds? A flood gate inevitably to open? An order set down by the Gods, intertwined into all? Observable and experienced, perhaps?

or does it lie within the heart? A basic understanding of cause and effect. That the choices we make have outcomes; that we get out of life what we put into it! That the more good we propagate, outwardly and inwardly, the more good we are sure to receive and embrace.

Lost in thought, the woman dragged by the hand; the impatient child just wanting to find the car in the busy parking lot and move along with the day.
